PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the antenna characteristic when a telescopic antenna is extended and to make the antenna small in the telescopic antenna that is fitted to a case of a portable wireless device having a feeding section. SOLUTION: The telescopic antenna that is fitted to the case of the wireless portable device having a feeding section, is provided with a 1st antenna section consisting of an element section 10 whose length is equivalent to a half wavelength, a 2nd antenna section consisting of a helical coil 16 whose length is equivalent to a 1/4 wavelength, and fitted to part of the 1st antenna section via an insulator, a holder section 8 to mount the antenna section to the case 30 and a feeding coil 20 that is wound on the holder section. The holder section 18 is provided to the antenna to support the antenna with the case when the antenna is extended.
