PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric resonator type band pass filter having a symmetrical attenuation point characteristic used for a band pass filter or a channel combiner of mobile communication, and a radio communication base station and repeater system. SOLUTION: This band pass filter is provided with an input means that inputs a microwave input signal into a cavity 41 by a loop coupling 31, with dielectric resonators 20, 21 forming band pass filters for an input signal by floating a dielectric material into the metallic cavity 41 and a cavity 42 connected in series with the metallic cavity 41 through a window 43, with an output means where an output frequency signal of the cavity 42 is coupled in a way of electromagnetic induction with a loop coupling 36 and which outputs a frequency signal with a set frequency band, and with a bypass means whose both ends are coupled a way of electromagnetic induction with the loop couplings 31, 36, which bypasses part of the input signal to the output means and that forms symmetrical lower and upper attenuation points at both side ends of a band pass frequency outputted to the output means.
