PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope with which tomographic images by an OCT can be obtained. SOLUTION: Respective rays which are emitted from an SLD 231 and are introduced to respective optical fibers of a fiber array F are made incident on an interferometer section 154. The interferometer section 154 consists of a beam splitter S which respectively branches the respective rays and emits the respective rays of one side toward the examinee T, a GI plate 154 which introduces the respective branches rays on the other side, a reflection surface R which reflects the respective rays introduced by this GI plate 154b toward the beam splitter S and a photodetector D which detects the respective interference light rays generated by the interference of the respective rays reflected by the examinee T and the respective rays reflected by the reflection surface R at the beam splitter S. While the interferometer section 154 is driven so as to approach or depart to or from the examinee T, the tomographic images of the examinee T may be obtained in accordance with the signals obtained by the photodetector D. |
