The invention concerns a core barrel (1, 4) equipped with a flexible membrane (2) on its internal surface, means (10) for driving the core barrel into the soil (11), means for disintegrating the soil coming out from the core barrel top orifice, means for applying axial forces on the membrane (2) and on the top surface of the sample (12) of soil contained in the core barrel, and means for measuring stresses and deformations sustained by the sample (12). During the measurement process the core barrel is immobilised in the soil (11). |
