PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device where image formation with a stable image quality is carried out. SOLUTION: In the device, a reading part 10 detecting a resist mark formed on an intermediate transfer body 9 is provided at the downstream of 4 cartridges 5 to 8 and a rotary encoder 13 is provided to a driving roll 9a of the intermediate transfer body 9. The resist mark is formed at once for each color on the intermediate transfer body 9, they are detected by the reading part 10, output of the rotary encoder 13 is counted, the value of the interval of installment of a cartridges when power is connected for the first time after the device is installed and the value of the interval of installment measured after a passage of a specified period or after output of specified number of pieces are obtained, both values are compared and compensation is carried out on starting position for image formation according to deviated amount. |
