<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer device allowing visually handicapped or visually weak person to easily set a present time and the time of a timer. SOLUTION: The timer device has a hour switch 3 and a minute switch 4 for setting a time, a usual addition part 6 for adding an hour and a minute displayed of time data and a display part 5 for one hour, one minute or few minutes each time the hour switch 3 and the minute switch 4 are depressed, an information means 9 for acoustically informing of the adding condition each time in addition, an automatic addition part 7 for automatically adding the hour and the minute by continuously depressing the hour switch 3 and the minute switch 4 for a preset time or more and a stop locking part 8 for stopping automatic addition when the hour and the minute reach initial values in automatic addition. The information means 9 informs of the initial value stopped condition in sounds or frequencies or both of them different from those in usual conditions, allowing visually handicapped or visually weak people to easily set a time.</p> |
