PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a process cartridge which is filled with toner and sealed without drawing a toner seal out and using a toner seal for a used process cartridge. SOLUTION: This method has an elastic member fitting stage for fitting an end part lateral seal 66 which is an elastic member inside an end part seal 34 provided on one lengthwise end side and the other end side of a developing roller along the length of the developing roller 10d and on the opposite side of the side where a toner storage part 10a is provided during the reproducing process. Consequently, the gap between a developing frame body 12a and a developing lower frame 12b is sealed with a sealing member 64, so no toner leaks from between the end part seal 34 and a blowout preventive seal. This method contributes to prevention of a toner leak in distribution. |
