PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal-illuminating type induction lamp having equal or excellent optical properties as compared to those of an induction lamp having an indication surface one side of which is 200 mm to 400 mm long. SOLUTION: An internal-illuminating type induction lamp has a quadrangular indication surface 6 which consists of a light transmitting portion of light color and a patterned portion of dark color and in which a length ratio of a vertical side to a horizontal side is about 1:1. Within the quadrangular indication surface 6, there are included a plurality of light sources having a nearly straight tube shape. The indication surface 6 is 400 mm or more in one side length. An indication surface formed by the light sources 4 has a ratio of a vertical side length to a horizontal side length of about 1:1, and also 200 mm to 400 mm in one side length.
