PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine or a facsimile system with a means which transmits voice data along with a FAX document by a convenient method. SOLUTION: This FAX machine includes a voice input part 7, a voice data converting part 101, a read part 4 and a control part 9. The FAX equipment 1 transmits the voice data which are inputted by the part 7, while responding to image data read by the part 4 and are converted by the part 101 by binary file transfer, before or after transmitting the image data. A receiving user can hear message data associated with the FAX document by voice by a simple method, without having to perform troublesome procedures such as a PB signal operation, etc.
