PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device capable of preventing the generation of the positional deviation of a formed image, even if the image is formed on paper loaded in any paper cassette. SOLUTION: A main control part 11 uses a displaying part 12 and an operating part 13, to request a manager to preliminarily establish the setting of an image-forming position common to paper cassettes 16 provided in a recording part 15 and the setting of the image-forming position of each of the cassettes 16 and stores them as image-forming position information in an image-forming position setting information storing part 21. The setting of the image-forming positions is respectively set in the case of forming an image as is in its direction and in the case of forming an image by rotating the image by 90 deg.. When the image is formed, a cassette 16 is selected, image-forming position setting information corresponding to the selected cassette 16 and the existence of image rotation is read from the part 21, the image forming position is controlled with respect to the part 15 and the image is formed.
