PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for monitoring and testing plural output signals from a circuit to be tested at the same time without switching by using one pattern monitor circuit and plural data comparing circuits. SOLUTION: The test pattern signal is supplied to inputs of the object circuit to be tested which has plural inputs and outputs and a pattern monitor circuit 6 monitors whether or not one of the outputs is the same pattern as expected; and data comparison parts 8-2 to 8-N compares other outputs with the output monitored by the pattern monitor circuit 6 to monitor whether or not the outputs of the object circuit 1 to be tested are all the same pattern as expected, thereby testing the operation of the object circuit 1.
