PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device which has an appropriate radiation property and a high reliability. SOLUTION: This semiconductor laser device 1 is composed of a heat sink 2, and a semiconductor laser element 3 which is provided with a pair of electrodes 5 and 6 on its both sides and is fitted onto the heat sink 2 by means of a brazing material 8 to alloying with either of the electrodes 5 and 6. A heat radiation layer 7 is formed on at least either of a pair of electrodes 4 and 5 and it has a high thermal conductivity at the time when it is alloyed with the brazing material 8.
