Spinning head for melt spinning, has no contact between pump and heating plate but has pump heated by adjacent heat conducting blocks

A melt spinning head assembly is heated by circulation of heating medium in a heating plate (4) on which are mounted the distribution manifold (1) and pump (2). The pump is heated by heat conducting blocks (9.1, 9.2), that are attached to the heating plate (4) and extend towards the pump. There is no direct contact between the pump (2) and the heating plate (4). An Independent claim is also included for a similar arrangement that also includes a heat shield (12) between the heat conducting blocks (9.1, 9.2, 9.3) and the outer insulation (13).
