The stand foot (6) of the post is concreted into a concrete plinth (5) at the suppliers and transported as a prefabricated unit to the site. A hole larger in diameter than that of the plinth is dug out in the centre of the post site and a mixture of sand and cement is used to fill the hole up to a depth of hole depth minus distance of lower edge of post plus lower edge of plinth. The prefabricated unit is inserted and the space between jacket of concrete body and hole boundary wall is filled with thin concrete. The post foot is finely adjusted and water poured into the hole and sand and cement mixture.
