DISK DEVICE, DISK TRAY AND GUIDE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device that a disk can be easily mounted. SOLUTION: A guide member 30 is removably attached to a disk tray 20 to guide an optical disk 2 between a recess part 21 and a pawl part 24. When the disk 2 is mounted on a vertically placed disk device 1, the disk 2 is moved along the member 30. Thus the disk 2 is automatically guided between both parts 21 and 24. Thereby the inconvenience caused by the vertically placed device 1 can be eliminated when the disk 2 is mounted on the device 1 and also the disk 2 can be easily mounted on the tray 20. Furthermore, the member 30 is removable and accordingly can be attached to the tray 20 when the device 1 is vertically placed and can be removed from the tray 20 when the device 1 is horizontally placed respectively. As a result, the disk 2 can be easily mounted on the device 1 regardless of the placing state of the device 1.
