The screen for concealing activities on buildings and civil engineering works comprises strips of flexible material held together by at least one curtain part (20,40) and at least two coupling components (10,30,50), each with first engaging parts (2) gripping a cross edge area of the at least one curtain part. Second engaging parts (7) grip releasably a cross edge of a following curtain part. The second engagement parts are formed by a casing with an aperture for accommodating and gripping around an edge area of a curtain part. The coupling parts (10,30,50) are elongated longitudinally and resistant to bending. The aperture and the casing each extend in the longitudinal direction of the corresponding coupling component.
