When one stands at the entrance with its shutter raised for one to come in through the entrance when it is raining, one is likely to get wet with rain because eaves are absent or, even if present, are not so helpful; in such situation, it is intended to protect one, even if a little, from getting wet. Solving means: a shutter also serving as eaves, comprising a single door (15) composed of long strips (15a ... 15n) having ridge-recess fit portions to join the strips together, and groove-shaped guide rails (11) disposed on opposite sides of the door (15) to guide the winding and unwinding of the door by means of a winding drum rotated by hand or by electric power, wherein the guide rail (11) is divided into upper and lower rails (12, 10), the lower rail (13) being fixed, the upper rail (12) being made swingable around its upper end by swing means, the connecting portions of the lower end (12a) of the upper rail (12) and the upper end (13a) of the lower rail (13) are inclined and symmetrical so that when the back is swung longitudinally of the guide rail (11) and returns to its original position, it bumps to stop, the shutter further comprising a guide body (31) in the form of a curved body disposed on the winding drum (2) such that projections protrude inwardly of a side plate (1b) corresponding to the opposite lateral ends of the door (15) before the latter is wound on the winding drum (2), a guide roll body (6) supported by a vertically movable device (5) and disposed parallel with the winding drum (2) on the side associated with a guide rail (11), and a buffer material provided on opposite surfaces of the opposite ends of the door.
