The press has a sheet guide which includes setting elements (22) to adjust the radial external support for a radially inward-facing grip with two grip elements (8, 9) in each turn-round grip relative to the turn-round drum (3). At the end of the turning motion of the turn-round grip with the sheet, it is kept in contact with the downstream side of the drum by the setting elements and the inner part (9) of the grip.
