Two connections (21,22) are provided for a DC input and a signal output connection (23) is provided for the output of the applied pressure of a corresponding signal. A source current adjuster i.e. a resistor (40) permits the value (Ip) of a source current flowing through the DC input connections to be dependent on the different types of the pressure sensor element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a control device pressure sensor; (b) and a pressure sensor system.
