<p>An automatic clamping device of a tire vulcanizing device capable of operating an engaging mechanism with a low output and low drive force, or capable of operating the engaging mechanism and a lock mechanism with common drive means, comprising the engaging mechanism (4) engaging a clamp rod (3) with or disengaging the clamp rod (3) from a clamped body, and a lock mechanism (5) positioning the clamp rod (3) on the clamped body at a lock position and an unlock position, the engaging mechanism further comprising a spacer (41) receiving an energizing force of a spring member (40) to release the engagement, and a cam lever (43) having a cam (42) formed thereon so as to allow the spacer to be moved reciprocatingly, the lock mechanism further comprising a plate cam (50) moved reciprocatingly in connection with the operation of the cam lever, the plate cam (50) further comprising a cam groove (52) having a guide member (51) fitted therein, and the cam groove comprising a clearance groove part (53) keeping the movement of the plate cam to be cleared until the engagement is released and an inclined engagement groove part (54) allowing the clamp rod to be rotated from the lock position to the unlock position according to the movement of the plate cam.</p> |
