A device for the control of a final control element, especially an air flap, of a heating or air-conditioning installation (34) of a car. The device has an adjusting drive (32), an electric circuit (1) controlling the adjusting drive and a control part (36) for the input of control commands. The adjusting drive, the circuit and the control part are connected together via at least one electric lead (3). The circuit is located outside the adjusting drive and outside the control part. The circuit is integrated into the lead. The lead is a data bus and the circuit has a programmable store (4). In the store, a subscriber number can be stored and additionally, a component (5) is provided for the adjustment of the subscriber number.
