<p>A data output controller facilitates retrieving detailed information through a network. A data output control terminal (300) is connected to communicate with mobile terminals (100) owned by users, printers (PR1-PRn) distributed in various places and WWW servers (DS1-DSn) through the Internet (400). The terminal (300) retrieves the data associated with a data print request from a mobile terminal (100) from a WWW server (DS), selects the most suitable one of the printers (PR) to provide the user with the output data, and supplies the data to the selected printer (PR). Such a printer (PR) is selected by searching printer position data in memory (62), for example, based on desired area data indicative of a desired area, and finding a printer PR in the area specified by the desired area data.</p> |
