A predetermined authentication pattern is formed on the cover of a robot, device and an authentication means which authentication the cover on the basic of the authentication pattern is provided to the robot device. An information holding means which holds specific information is provided to the cover and a reading means which reads the specific information out of the information holding means is provided to the robot device. A function that measures the influence value of the cover and changes the manifestation pattern of a movement if necessary in accordance with the measurement result is provided to the robot device.
