<p>A method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire capable of manufacturing as long a wire as possible by connecting relatively short wires and capable of suppressing the decrease of the critical current due to the strain when the connected wires are bent, an oxide superconducting wire, a superconducting coil and a supencoducting apparatus are provided. The method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire by mutually superposing the terminal parts of two oxide superconducting wires (1, 2) to join the oxide superposing wires, wherein the joined part (L) formed by mutually superposing the terminal parts is worked so as to reduce the strain produced in the end parts of the joined parts (L) when the connected two oxide superconducting wires (1, 2) are bent. The oxide superconducting wire, the superconducting coil, and the superconducting apparatus have such joined parts (L) in which the strain existing in the end parts of the joined parts (L) is reduced in such a way.</p> |
