<p>A hands free kit for a mobile phone is disclosed. The kit includes a receptable for receiving a mobile phone handset and a housing remote from the receptacle. The receptacle is adapted to be placed in a convenient location for reception and transmission of electromagnetic signals between the mobile phone handset and the mobile phone network. The housing is adapted to be placed substantially adjacent the head of a user, or anywhere convenient. The housing contains electronic circuitry including transducer/transceiver means, microphone means, speaker means and battery power supply means with said circuitry being connected to the mobile phone handset via its PHA (Personal Handsfree Adaptor) port or a PHA adaptor. The microphone and speaker means receive and provide sound waves from and to the user whilst the mobile phone handset communicates with the network.</p> |
