The invention relates to a method for dispatching flat flexible products, especially printing products (9), stored in a stack. According to said metho d, a suctioning element (2) is used to fold the front edge section (31) of each individual product in a downward direction away from the underside of the stack of products (8), whereupon said individual products are dispatched by a gripper (3) which grasps the front edge section thereof. The direction in which the gripper (3) moves in the underside region of the stack (8) of the products extends essentially from the front edge section to the rear edge section of the products (9) located in the stack. Once each individual produ ct (9) has been folded by the suctioning element (2), the suctioning element (2 ) is used to transfer said products directly to a gripper (3), whereby each individual product (9) is continuously maintained by the suctioning element (2) or the gripper (3) during the folding operation and dispatching occurs immediately thereafter. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method.
