SUBSTANCE: proposed system can be used in automobiles powered by engines with forced ignition of fuel mixture and exposed to conditions unfavorable for operation of electrical devices. System has supply source, ignition switch, transistor switch, ignition coil, pickup-distributor including pulse pickup and distributor, spark plugs and emergency switch with spark-quench capacitor and control winding connected in parallel with capacitor. Positive terminal of supply source is connected through ignition switch to first terminal of transistor switch and to primary winding of ignition coil whose secondary winding is connected by one lead to common bus and by other lead, to central terminal of pickup-distributor cap, its free ends being connected to common bus through spark plugs. System is furnished additionally with gaseous discharge lamp, resistor, tip secured on wire connecting high-voltage lead of ignition coil and central terminal of pickup-distributor can and connected to common bus by one of its leads directly and by other lead, through gaseous discharge lamp and resistor, and mode- of -operation change-over switch with two groups of contacts. Emergency switch has, additionally, sealed-contact reed relay and parallel control winding. Sealed-contact reed relay is connected in series with control winding and in parallel with capacitor. Free electrodes of sealed-contact reed relay is connected through common bus to transistor switch body and to negative terminal of supply source.
