<p>Compound product is produced by impregnating a cement product with methyl methacrylate contg. a dissolved azo catalyst, and subjecting to conditions under which polymsn. of the monomer occurs. Pref. the catalyst is azobisisobutyronitrile and the crude cement product has a high structural microporosity. The product has a high mechanical strength and chemical resistance, and if fully sealed.</p> |
