The invention relates to an add-on for industrial trucks, that is vehicles, such as in particular so-called lift trucks, that are provided on their front face with a device that picks up and lifts loads, disposed on a frame or a carrier (11). Said device comprises holding and/or gripping means that are guided on telescoped guides (12, 13) and that can be moved and brought into different positions by hydraulic control devices. In said positions, these vehicles can take up, grip, lift and transport a load. According to the invention, the control cylinder (22) of the hydraulic device is configured as a movable part of the telescoped guide and the control piston (25) is linked with the frame or the carrier (11) in a non-rotational manner via the pertaining piston rod (251). The stationary part (23) of the telescoped guide may form part of the frame or carrier and the piston rod of the control piston is provided with two longitudinal bores (252, 253) which serve as the feeding lines for feeding and returning the hydraulic medium.
