<p>A repeater (104) of a network (101) searches the name of a communication destination node (102d) in response to a request from a communication source node (102s) according to the conditions defined by one of or a combination of a set of information on the operation status, use state, position, and characteristics of the communication destination node (102d), a set of information stored in the communication destination node (102d), and a set of information effective in specifying the communication destination node (102d). The repeater (104) makes a response about the information specifying the communication destination node (102d) by searching a database such as of a DNS, or by actually inquiring the communication destination node (102d) to retrieve the information for the response.</p> |
