The plow with variable width of working has a frame (7) mounted on wheels (8) which carries plowshares (10, 15). The distance between the plowshares (10', 15') immediately before and after the wheels is at least 1.5 times that between the remaining plowshares. The distances (17 - 19) between the swivel axes (13) of the plowshare swivelling console (9) are uniform.
