The cooling apparatus for micro-titration plate readers has a chamber (2) with a heat exchanger (3) and a fan (4). The chamber opening (20) is sealed, where the plates are inserted and removed, to give a hermetic sealing. The micro-titration plate (1) has passage openings through it. The micro-titration plate (1) is located over or under the fan (4) and the heat exchanger (3), or it is between them. The passage openings through the micro-titration plate (1) are parallel slits, or holes. The micro-titration plate (1) is held in place in the chamber (2) by a slide (21) with guides (23), mechanically bonded to the seal (22). The fan (4) and the heat exchanger (3) are linked to a control unit (8). The heat exchanger (3) is linked (7) to a cryostat or thermostat. The chamber (2) has a scanner (5) to identify the samples, positioned at it by the movement of the slide (21) which carries the micro-titration plate (1). The plate (1) is also moved through the chamber opening (20) to an external scanner.
