Polyester fibers having functionality which has been imparted thereto or a structure comprising the fibers, characterized in that they contain a creep-promoting compound having a creep promotion coefficient (C) defined in the specification of 4 or greater in an amount of 0.001 to 2 wt % or a structure formed therefrom; and a method for producing such polyester fibers or such a structure. Said polyester fibers and structure are excellent in the durability of the function which has been imparted thereto.
