<p>A method for treating a combustion ash of coal containing an ingredient derived from limestone by admixing it with water, characterized in that the combustion ash and the water to be admixed are controlled to have different temperatures; and a method for desulfurization characterized in that a desulfurizing agent obtained by a method wherein, in a treatment of a combustion ash from a dust collector by admixing it with water in a coal combustion boiler, the combustion ash and the water to be admixed are controlled to have different temperatures, is fed to a coal combustion furnace for recycling. The method exhibits a sulfurization performance, in the desulfurization of a coal combustion boiler, being superior to that of a conventional method using a substance obtained by hydrating a combustion ash with water or steam.</p> |
