Apparatus for the heat treatment of automobile shock absorbers allowing improved product quality and increased production line productivity

An apparatus for the thermal treatment of automobile shock absorbers, comprises:- a) a step feeder (10) transporting a plurality of shock absorbers (1) in an ordered and continuous manner in a predetermined direction; b) a conveying unit (20) and a guidance unit (30) for the ordered, horizontal and continuous displacement and guidance from the step feeder in the given direction at a constant speed; c) a unit (40) for the rotation and displacement of shock absorbers at the outlet from the guidance unit and made up of a rotating drum and a plurality of rollers which co-operate to displace the shock absorbers in an ordered and continuous manner in the given direction; and d) a heat treatment unit (50) positioned at the outlet of the rotation and displacement unit, to heat the shock absorbers using an annular induction coil whilst guiding the shock absorbers from the rotation and displacement unit towards the centre of the induction coil to allow the shock absorbers to pass through the centre of the induction coil.
