A device for the increase of the air flow through a heat transmission device as well as for the ventilation of a motor compartment in a machine has the following: - a fan that is positioned near an end part of the motor compartment; and - a heat exchanger device that is positioned near the fan and upstream of it. The fan generates an air flow through the heat transmission device and through the motor compartment. The fan is a radial one. The heat transmission device is a coolant condenser core for an air-conditioning plant. The motor compartment has at least one output line that permits an air connection between the inside and the outside of the motor compartment.
