<p>An aqueous dispersion for water-and-oil repellants which is excellent in water-and-oil repellency and waterdrop repellency and has excellent dispersion stability even when the processing bath further contains a chemical or an impurity is present therein. The process comprises: emulsifying under pressure a starting-material composition comprising one or more polymerizable monomers comprising as an essential ingredient a (meth)acrylate having a polyfluoroalkyl group, a nonfluorinated surfactant containing no aromatic groups, water, and a solvent having a viscosity at 25°C of 3 cP or higher; and then polymerizing the emulsified monomers. The aqueous dispersion is obtained by the process.</p> |
