摘要 <p>1329861 Air rectification process L'AIR LIQUIDE SOC ANON POUR L'ETUDE ET L'EXPLOITATION DES PROCEDES GEORGES CLAUDE 9 Sept 1970 [10 Sept 1969] 43246/70 Heading F4P Nitrogen reflux for the head of an air rectification column 14 is in part obtained by withdrawing effluent product nitrogen through a line 22 recovering the cold therefrom by passage through heat exchangers 13, 7 compressing a portion of the nitrogen product in a two stage compressor 26, liquefying in a heat exchanger 28 traversed by L N.G. at a higher pressure undergoing vaporization, expanding the liquid nitrogen at 52 into a separator 30 and feeding a portion of liquid nitrogen through a line 34 to the column for use as a reflux. Flash nitrogen gas from separator 30 is used to undercool the liquid nitrogen at 29 and is then returned to the inlet of compressor 26 from the first stage of which product nitrogen gas is discharged through a line 27. The remainder of the liquid nitrogen leaving separator 30 through a line 31 is undercooled in an exchanger 32 and is then expanded at a value 59 into a separator 33 from which is discharged product liquid nitrogen. In operation feed compressed air is in part condensed by passage through exchanger 7 and is fed to a high pressure column 9 from which crude liquid oxygen in a line 10 crude liquid nitrogen in a line 11 and an oxygen-nitrogen mixture in a line 12 are warmed at 13 and fed the column 24. Product gaseous oxygen is withdrawn through a line 15. Product liquid oxygen is withdrawn at 16 and a portion pressurized by a pump 17 whilst the rest is undercooled at 19 expanded into a separator from which liquid oxygen product is discharged. In a modification the air is rectified in a single column.</p>
