<p>A cowl assembly (10) has a cylindrical housing (11) so tapered from base flange (14) to cap extension (18) for moulding purposes housing (11) provided with rectangular sections of opposed channels (12), an annular flange (15) extends about the outer end of the housing (11) whereby cap extension (16) may accommodate a motor cooling fan. The cap extension and the end wall (18) has a central aperture (19) therein providing high volume airflow from motor fan with a base mounting flange so arranged as to extend about the part circular base and the channels of a sealable shape. Airflow apertures (21) in housing (11) adjacent to the base flange and opposed manifolds (22) extend from these apertures. Manifolds (22) expand toward outlet ports (23) which are coplanar.</p> |
