<p>The present invention relates to a method and a system for transmitting messages containing multimedia information. The system comprises a first mobile station terminal (MSA), a second mobile station terminal (MSB), and a digital mobile network (GSM). According to the invention, the system comprises a first multimedia message server (SMSCA), a first address database (DBA), an IP network (IP), a second multimedia message server (SMSCB), and a second address database (DBB). The invention enables the transmitting of multimedia messages between different operators.</p> |
