<p>The cable laying system has a plough share type blade (14) that is mounted on a frame and is drawn along to create a trench in the surface of soil. Located directly behind the blade assembly is a guide unit that directs the electrical cable to the bottom of the trench. The cable guide can be raised and lowered relative to the bottom of the trench. For this purpose a hydraulic cylinder (46) is provided. A variation allows the angle of the cutting blade to be adjusted to suit the specific soil conditions. ADVANTAGE - Allows control of depth and cable guide adjustment.</p> |
