SUBSTANCE: in order to determine relative damage to channels, clearances between channels and graphite stacking, location of channels under inspection where deviations from normal conditions are suspected, total intensity of decay products of gas fraction activation and value characterizing concentration of corrosion products in gas are checked simultaneously for all channels, measured values are used to determine their ratio and the ratio of mean values, and condition of channels is estimated by data obtained.
