The housing lower part (2) contains the required electric/electronic elements (8). The pressure face (4) is in the form of a dome-shaped protrusion (3) of the housing top part (1). The latter is of translucent or transparent material. The switch housing inside (5) is so illuminated by horizontal and vertical light sources (7) that the illumination housing top part is visible from all sides in and angular range of 0 to 180 degrees. Preferably the housing top part is luminescent, coloured, transparent or translucent plastics.
