A textile cleaning device, e.g. a mop, consists of a number of yarns, e.g. of cotton, synthetics or a mixture, that are attached to a support by means of an adhesive. Preferably a bi-component, waterproof adhesive is used. Independent claims are also included for a device with yarns attached by welding, preferably ultrasonic welding and for manufacturing processes for the two methods of construction.
