A liquid delivery device is particularly suited for dosing a toilet bowl with cleaning agents. Liquid from a reservoir (10) flows through an inner sleeve (34) of a connector (24) into a cup (18) until the liquid level reaches the mouth (60) of the inner sleeve (34). Web (32) is perforated so that the space (14) in cup (18) is open to atmosphere. Liquid is drawn from the cup (18) by a capillary (46) formed between the wall of cup (18) and the connector (24) and delivered to a porous pad (6). Flushwater runs over pad (6) and supporting plate (8) to disperse the liquid into a toilet bowl.
