PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine control device for a construction machine capable of preventing a boundary of an operation limiting range from being set by overlapping with an interference avoiding range. SOLUTION: When operating a limiting range setting switch 12a, a limiting range operation part 7d reads coordinates of the bucket tip in different two attitudes from an attitude operation part 7a, a judging part 7e calculates the boundary of a limiting range by these two positional coordinates to discriminate whether or not a interference avoiding range stored in an interference avoiding range storage part 7b and a calculated limiting range overlap with each other to prohibit writing to a limiting range storage part at overlapping time to output a signal for informing the fact of unwriting to a lamp 13.
