PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat device functioning as a container allowing opening of a leg letting-out space part and ascent of the upper end in a back abutment part to support a high position of a child's back when a movable side frame members are raised to get a child on, and allowing closing of the leg letting-out space part and descent of the upper end in the back abutment part when the movable side frame members are laid down to put in an object. SOLUTION: This child seat device has a seat part, the back abutment part, both side frame parts, the leg letting-out space part 13 for letting both legs out, a front frame part, and the movable side frame members 18 for closing the leg letting-out space part 13. The movable side frame members 18 are put away in rear part positions to overlap both the side frame parts, while upper portions of both the movable side frame members 18 in the put-away positions are horizontally provided with a back reception members. A height of the back reception member is higher than the top of the back abutment part, and is formed in an upheaving shape such that the back reception member can receive the child's back.
