PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic train control device certainly ensuring the continuity of train control when a train enters a short track form a long track, at the time of conducting train control in a line where long and sort tracks are mixed, especially in the train control by digitizing information transmission. SOLUTION: In this device 10, a frame telegraphic message transmitting means 20 arranged at a station in a line and within a ground device chamber has a speed control logic block 40 for a train TR, and the speed control is provided with an information organizing portion 42 for control information receiving command information S41 and the like, and an aspect table portion 44. Each control information replaying means 30 equipped in the train TR has an ATC on-vehicle device 50 for travel control, and the ATC on-vehicle device 50 is provided with a process selecting portion 51 for instant processing or determinant processing of train controlling, an on-vehicle memory portion 52 for the determinant processing and the like, and an information decoding portion 53 for each control information. Preferably, each of these portions is structured in a well-known microprocessor system.
