PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-type outrigger capable of taking the installed attitude of a float (so-called installation on the spot) even in the fully retracted state of an outrigger beam. SOLUTION: An energizing means is provided between a float and a suitable part of an inner case tip part so that the suitable part of the float and a stopper means provided at an outer case or an inner case abut each other to fix swing action in the fully retracted state of an outrigger beam and in the state of the lower face of the float being almost parallel with a lower plate of the outer case in an upward rotated position of the outrigger beam, and the tip lower part of the outer case is provided with a cutout part for enclosing the float in the fixed state.
