PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a radio-controlled model flying matter and a radio-controlled model flying matter excellent in economical performance and safety, which never crashes even if uncontrollable by an electronic disturbance. SOLUTION: This flying matter has an airplane 4-like outer shape, a housing area for housing a falling speed reducing means 43 is provided in the cockpit of the airplane 4. When the airplane 4 is uncontrollable, a safety protection switch is depressed. Then, a cockpit upper cover 40 is opened to protrude the falling speed reducing means 43 together with a weight 45 connected thereto through a connecting wire 42, so that the airplane 4 can be safely landed.
